Your Field Agent Jonathan Fincher
Jonathan Fincher is a Knight of Columbus Field Agent with the Fort Worth Agency, serving brother Knights and their families in the Grand Prairie, Lancaster, and Duncanville areas. Jonathan has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for nearly 12 years, and became a Field Agent for the Order in January of 2019.
When asked why he became a field agent, Jonathan said, “Having previously worked in both the corporate world and education, I prayerfully considered how God wanted me to utilize my talents. Being a field agent will use both my catechist and teaching skills, to help Catholic families understand how they can protect their families, and also grow in their faith.”
Jonathan is originally from San Jose, California, however because his father chose to enter the ministry, he moved around the country throughout his life. Jonathan earned a Bachelor’s of Economics degree from California State University Stanislaus. He continued furthering his education throughout his life by obtaining his teaching credential, along with coursework related to education and philosophy.
Jonathan began his career in the corporate world. He worked his way up from an inside sales position to the Operations Manager. Prior to becoming a field agent, when the economy led to downsizing, Jonathan entered the education field to help make a difference in the lives of others.
Jonathan has one son Bailey (24) and a daughter Vanessa (30) who is married to Ryan Rogers and together they have a two year old son, Lane.
Jonathan is a parishioner at St. Joseph’s in Arlington, where he teaches the monthly English Baptism classes. He entered the Knights in February 2006 in the Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles Council #11653. There he held the positions of Recorder, Deputy Grand Knight, and two terms as Grand Knight. Upon moving to Arlington he transferred his membership to St. Joseph the Worker Council #13470.
When asked what he hopes to achieve for his members, Jonathan said, “As your Field Agent, you can count on me to work side-by-side with you to protect your family’s future. Learning, achieving, and responsibility are strengths I possess that will motivate me to be an advocate for your benefit. I will do what I can to work to meet your needs and be part of the solution to ease your minds.”
Jonathan has extensive knowledge of the products the Knights of Columbus offers to members and their families, and stands ready to help them achieve their financial goals.
